Lethe-wards

I’ve been busy on ‘For the Women who Stitched’ over the weekend. I also stitched a piece about Lethe – ‘Towards Lethe’, perhaps:

It struck me that sustained and concentrated stitching takes you to another place, somewhere other than yourself. Somewhere approaching oblivion. Or Lethe, even. Stitching can be a way of remembering and a way of forgetting, both at the same time.
