‘Through the round window’ – which will mean nothing to anyone who didn’t grow up in 1970s Britain. This lovely piece of sturdy cotton fabric came to me already with a hole cut in it. All I had to do was find something to look back at me from the other side of the window. Two big eyes, perhaps.
