Parts of a whole (2)

It’s travelling quite a long way (overseas) so will not be at its new home yet. More hand dyed silk, simple hand embroidery and a little applique with a vintage cotton flower. I really enjoy mixing different types of green: blue-greens, yellow-greens, grey-greens etc. I figure if Mother Nature can get away with it, then so can the rest of us.

Lovely glimpse. There is certainly a lot that Mother Nature can teach us about the use of colour.

Can’t wait to see the complete ‘picture’ – I know its lovely just from the little bits you’ve shown us. Hope its trip is short and quick!!
