#16 – the velvet circle

Hand-dyed silk velvet: beautifully soft and quiet, plain, simple.

3.5″ in diameter, stitched to hand-dyed linen damask.

It looks as if it’s just floating, doesn’t it? It is stitched down, really.

And that’s me done for the week. Thank you, for your wise words and responses to yesterday’s searching. You helped me to see more clearly. Have a lovely weekend; I’ll be back on Monday.

Simply gorgeous. The sheen on the silk contrasted with the damask, is exquisite. I really does look as though it is floating in air. Have a wonderful weekend.
