Still waiting for wool batting; still working on this landscape quilt. The foreground fabric came from an old dip-dyed muslin skirt that belonged to a friend of mine.
Love the colours in this one.
Its lovely subtle colours. I always admire subtely when others use it – mainly cos I’m so completely incapable of it myself
I’m a Sagittarian, so usually subtlety is way beyond me 🙂
This is just like opening a gift on your birthday… Bits of it reveal themselves one at a time, and the anticipation of the whole is almost too much!!
OMG, I knew that more was coming with those little stitches, this is a dream landscape, I like how the eye easily slips from one colour to the following.
a peaceful little hum goes through me when i look upon this cloth and the stitches – happy day karen.
I love the way the stitches meld one colour into another. Very soothing.
love the lines, stitches and colours. Hope the wool batting arrives soonxlynda
Wool batting arrived today, hurrah!

This is beautiful. Serene, peaceful, vibrant and interesting all at once 🙂
love how you have used the compliments yellow and purple – a very difficult combination – it is soft and beautifully blended.

You're welcome to pick your way through threads and stitches, but I'd be really grateful if you could be kind enough to refrain from pinning.
